Story:

Brick Soldier, Starshine and War Urchin all stood upon the muddy bank of a large river, a giant city rising to the skies all around them.  Before they could ascertain where they were, Brick Soldier heard a scream from the abandoned Eudicys building behind them and they went in to investigate.  The interior looked as if it had not been used for its intended purpose in a long time and was covered in spray paint and garbage.

Brick Soldier climbed up the empty elevator shaft while the others took the stairs to the fifth floor.  When they reached it, they found five members of the Flying Devil gang threatening a girl.  [Snowboy Note: The Flying Devil Gang wear red leather coats and control most of the Southwestern sections of the city.]  They took down one member before a second thug grabbed the girl and put a knife to her throat.  Brick Soldier clobbered the scoundrel, sending him sliding across the room.  The other three gang members surrendered, but two were overly mouthy and War Urchin knocked them out, breaking some bones in the process.  The final one gave no opposition.

The team relived the gang members of their phones and found out from map searches that they were in Centropolis, one of the largest cities in the country.  They called the local police and let them know that the gang members were there.  When they questioned the girl, they found out that she was there to buy a new drug from the gang called Black Jack.  War Urchin admonished her for her drug addiction and told her to seek help.  As none of the heroes are from Centropolis, Brick Soldier tried to talk the girl into taking them to her place so they could regroup [A 1 was rolled on the Persuade attempt] but the girl was freaked out by him and ran off.

Going back outside, the group found that the unconscious heroic they brought with them had now awoken.  He told them his name was Saint Superior and that he was a native of the city.  After some discussion, he agreed to take them to the area of the city called Northwatch, which is where he had his secret hideout.

Map of Centropolis broken into sections
Beginning from the Grant Flats area, the team traveled by War Urchin and Saint Superior flying and had made it to East Centropolis when members of the Dark Joke Gang, upon a rooftop began to throw things at them.  [Snowboy Note: The Dark Joke Gang is known for being mentally unbalanced and often wear multi-colored clothes sewn with patches.  They usually attempt to steal scientific equipment and researchand like to experiment on themselves in an attempt to give themselves abilities.]  War Urchin dropped a concussion grenade, but the gang was able to dive away from the impact.  While most of the gang used chains to attack, one member had a sonic screm that knocked War Urchin from the sky.  Brick Soldier dive-bombed the screamer while the others attacked the lesser members.  Saint Superior was only somewhat helpful as he kept collapsing during the conflict, but Koh'di jumped in to help.  A chain attack knocked Koh'di out quickly, which enraged War Urchin who felled several gang members.

After all of the Dark Jokes had been defeated, they were tied up for the police.  Brick Soldier stopp upon the edge of the building and flexed for the gathered crowd below, trumpeting his victory over the gang.  Starshine, faded into the shadows so as to not be seen during this.

The group continued on, getting lost once but ultimately reaching their destination.  Saint Superior's hideout was behind and underneath an old church in one of the high-end Northwatch neighborhoods.  While there, the team used the computer system to discover that they had been missing for three weeks and had no memory of how they had been abducted.  That mystery would have to wait though as they focused on the clues they uncovered from the lab they escaped from.

Through searching, they found that Eudicys had been a company in the mid to late 80's that had done a lot of work on the Star Wars defense system and had been researching deep space engines and propulsion.  They became overburdened by funding scandals and disappeared entirely by 1989.

They moved on to searching for information on Dr. Messer, the only missing scientist from the lab.  The first search provided over two hundred different Messers but through careful research they narrowed it down to one who had been a bio-engineer with a company called Orvium-Janus Pharma.  It seemed that Dr. Messer had lost a wife two years earlier and had soon after been let go from OJP.  Further research found that the last known address had been foreclosed upon.  Using social media, they found an old profile for Dr. Messer's wife.  Through a group effort they created a believable false profile of their own and contacted the last person who had posted on her page.

After several emails back and forth they learned that Mrs. Messer had owned a cabin in the mountains northeast of the city.  It was possible that the Doctor could be there.

Saint Superior was still feeling ill from the ordeal and needed to rest, claiming that his superior physique would heal him in no time.  War Urchin seemed wary of this claim and decided that instead of leaving Koh'di in the care of Superior, they would take the monkey with them.  The heroics spent some time debating on how they were going to get to the cabin before Starshine charmed him in to letting them use his personal car.

This is where the session ended.
